Make up for Aarons death

First I had to stick the scar we had bought onto Aaron's neck by using Laytex.

To cover the patch around the scar i had to apply fake blood all around it so it would look more real.

Lastly I applied a more runny type blood to give the effect that the blood is pouring out from Aaron's neck like it would if someone had really slit his neck. T he only problem was that the blood would stain the carpet flooring so I found a old rug that would match the carpet colour so it wouldn't look out of place and we wouldn't ruin the carpet flooring.

Final Cast

 Philip Lee- We chose him as our original actor for the cast of Ian couldn't come for our final day of shoot, luckily we managed to get Philip, we had to adjust the script as Philip looked to young to play as the husband so we changed it to Ian being the son. We had to pay for Philip to act as it was on such short notice, but it was a small amount to pay as we had to finish this film off.

Ruthie Rosenthal- We didn't get many auditions to play the part of Jenna, fortunately our teacher had links with a theater company, this is how we got Ruthie to play the part of Jenna.

Hannah Fewings- again we didn't get many people coming to audition for the part of Mary, and again our teacher new of a women who had past experience of acting. We had to get a wig to cover her red hair as this wouldn't help the audience show she would be possessed.

Aaron Lee- Aaron was the only one of our final cast to show to the auditions, we was blown away by his acting and instently knew he would play the part of the priest, we asked him to try and grow his beard to make him look older and would make him look a more experienced priest.

First Draft

This is our first edit towards the actual out come so there will be some mistakes, but this was  just so we could get a good idea of how the film looks like when its finally finished.

Poster ideas

We made this with the picture of the possessed daughter looking straight to the audience, this shows the audience what the short film is about but doesn't give away too much. We chose this as our final poster.

We also took a picture of the priest about to walk up to the house, this is dull and doesn't show a lot, but is similar to the original exorcist poster, where theres the priest with the street light on him, just in front of the house.

This is our third poster idea, we like this as it shows a lot with the knife in the foreground and the priest with Mary in the background, we didn't chose this as our actual poster as its hard for the audience to see what this is about.
