CD cover experimenting with Photoshop

In this I used the pencil filter to give it the sketchy look to it, I then brighten up the picture to suite the artists name. In the text I made one side of it brighter to make it look as the light on the cover is shining the light on the text.

We have come up with a few ideas as a group, the first idea was to have a similar plot to American Psycho were this rich man has it all but kills other people that he is jealous of as they might have a better car then him, we scraped this idea as it would of been hard to get the mise-en-scene right. Our next idea was to have some boy leaving school and looking at the school as a nightmare but in the end he realises that he would actually miss it. Our third idea was about a group of people having a camping trip out in the woods when one of them see a killer getting rid of his last victim and so the killer starts to kill the witnesses.
